Our 8 -12 week development courses are an ideal way for schools, colleges and alternative provision units to offer alternative curriculum activities to their students. These programmes are great for promoting a sense of achievement amongst disaffected young people, or as an additional learning experience and ‘added value’ curriculum for any student or ‘Gifted and Talented’ pupils.
Depending on the requirements of the school/students the development programmes can be wholly based around the adventure activities we provide, or can be tailored to include short classroom based learning, records of achievement or pupil progress portfolios. This ensures that we offer the right level of support depending on the group, and means we can provide ‘in house certification’ for the participation in our activities alongside a highly valuable learning experience.
Activities that we offer on these courses include:
| High Ropes | Bush craft |
| Low Ropes | Environmental awareness |
| Problem Solving | Raft Building (spring 2010) |
| Orienteering | Canoeing (spring 2010) |
| Archery | Basic First Aid |
| Air Rifles | Survival |
