We are able to offer tailored development programmes for schools and youth organisations that are designed to motivate young people and allow them to reach their learning goals through alternative methods to classroom learning.
These courses would include a combined programme of adventurous activities and outdoor learning, accumulating in the opportunity to complete one (or more) of the following Foundation learning qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma in Progression
- Life/Employability Skills
- Functional Skills ICT, English and Maths
- Certificate in Personal and Social Development
- BTEC in Sport and Active Leisure
Due to the availability of these qualifications at varying levels (Entry 1,2,3 and Level 1) we are able to offer personal learning plans for each student so that they work to their own aspirations and this in turn maximises their potential. If you have a number of learners in Key stage 3,4 or 5 who you feel require additional support/alternative curriculum learning to achieve their potential then our courses may be an ideal solution to ensuring they are able to progress.
Foundation learning courses can be an ideal re-integration programme for young people and are therefore suited to:
- Exclusion Prevention
- Pupil Referral Units
- Young Offender Rehabilitation
- Crime Prevention
- Youth Inclusion Programmes
