All of ASDAN’s Qualifications have been approved by the regulatory authorities for England (Ofqual), Wales (DCELLS), and Northern Ireland (CCEA), and are approved by the Secretary of State under Section 96 and 97 of the Learning and Skills Act, for pre and post 16 provisions.

Silver Challenge Award and Bronze Award
The course is aimed at Key stage 4 students in years 9, 10 and 11. But can also be used as a core curriculum for special schools.

By attending a weekly Treejumpers programme students have the opportunity to achieve a Bronze (6 units) or Silver award (12 units) with each unit being representative of approximately 10 hours work. All ASDAN courses require some additional work by students to ensure that their Portfolio of Evidence is completed.
Students will be required complete challenges from the following modules, we have also given an example of the type of challenges the pupils will be given at Treejumpers.

Information Handling Health and Survival
The Community World of Work
Sport and Leisure Technology
Home Management The Wider World
The Environment Expressive Arts
Number Handling Beliefs and Values

There are a couple of ways in which ASDAN courses at Treejumpers can be structured to support achievement:

Bronze award of 12 weeks (60 hours with minimal homework/PSHE support)

Silver award over 24 weeks (120 hours with minimal homework/PSHE support)

We can also offer a 6 week programme to achieve multiple credits to help ‘fast
track’ guided learning hours within schools, this can work well as a motivation at the beginning of a students ASDAN course with several credits being earned in a short period of time, or as a catch up during the progression of their study.
