The Treejumpers Academy was launched in 2010, designed to offer alternative curriculum programmes supported by accredited courses, allowing for students to gain recognised qualifications outside of the formal classroom environment. We offer courses for those aged 8-19 giving varying levels of qualifications. Please refer to the Courses section of the website to see the accredited courses offered at Treejumpers Academy.
We also continue to run our unaccredited development programmes for the disaffected youth, focusing on key skills development and instilling a positive attitude towards education and work.
VISION & MISSION STATEMENT
We are the leaders in the field of Outdoor Education and Adventure Training, providing easy, affordable access, to quality learning and challenging experiences for everyone, regardless of their abilities.
The Treejumpers Academy’s mission is to provide challenging experiences, employing an ethos of Risk management as opposed to Risk Aversion, in order to promote self confidence in individuals, with emphasis on skills for life development.
Through our outdoor education programmes, we raise awareness of our natural environment, thereby promoting a responsible attitude to maintaining a sustainable environment.
In partnership with Educational establishments, Treejumpers activities are used as an alternative curriculum to traditional education, or to add value to existing educational programmes, with a view to reducing the NEET Group and engaging, and retaining learners who may otherwise fail to reach their full potential and also enrich the curriculum of those who are gifted and talented.
